“Flights of Fancy,” Elachee’s annual spring benefit event, is set for 6:30-9 p.m. Friday, May 11, on the outdoor patio at Elachee Nature Science Center.

Now in its 11th year, “Flights” has adding some twists to the annual affair.

Guests can sample craft beer and light dinner fare during silent and live auctions offering unique birdhouses, garden sculptures, yard art, bird feeders, planters and gardening gift baskets created and donated by local artists. This year’s auctioneer will be local businessman and philanthropist Jim Walters.
