With young and old playing the game cornhole, the Gainesville Parks and Recreation department is hosting a Cornhole in the Park Tournaments.

Competitions will be Wednesdays, Aug. 17, 24 and 31, in the Dogwood Pavilion at Longwood Park at 20 Pearl Nix Parkway in Gainesville.

Cost is $10 per team. Registration dates are Sundays, Aug. 14, 21 and 28. Register at www.gainesville.org/online-registration.
