Celebrities from Gainesville to Atlanta will take orders instead of giving them as they work as food servers tonight at Mellow Mushroom.

The fifth Celebrity Server Night will feature Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Phil Niekro; former Atlanta Brave Kevin Millwood; Atlanta Falcons’ Freddie Falcon; Gainesville High School and University of Alabama quarterback Blake Sims; WDUN radio hosts Katie B. Davis, Joel Williams and Bill Maine; Fox 5 Atlanta anchor Buck Lanford; Georgia Adjutant Gen. Joe Jarrard; writer Harris Blackwood; and the University of Georgia cheerleaders.

The event will be from 6-10 p.m. today at 700 Green St. in Gainesville. A portion of proceeds and all tips will benefit the Edmondson Telford Center for Children, which provides a safe environment for forensic interviews of victims of child abuse.
