Chocolate lovers from across Northeast Georgia can stroll along the streets of downtown Braselton and be treated to tastes of all kinds during the city’s “Chocolate Walk.”
The third annual event will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, as businesses plan to hand out the cocoa-laced treats while showcasing their services to participants with a shopping bag.
Shopping bags will be reserved. It is requested strollers be at least 16 years old to reserve a bag.
“This is an unusually fun event for everyone,” Braselton downtown director Amy Pinnell said. “Businesses will go to extra lengths to prepare for this day as each will present a special chocolate treat to enhance a sweet shopping experience. The event has sold out in prior years, so I encourage early registration.”
The delicious stroll begins rain or shine at the Braselton Downtown office in the Braselton Brothers Department Store center at 9:45 a.m. Maps are available to guide patrons to the participating businesses until close.
Tickets $5 tickets. Participants may register at www.BraseltonChocolateWalk2017.eventbrite.com.
All participants may register to win a $50 Downtown Dollars gift certificate. The Drawing will take place at noon.
