Flowery Branch native Lindsey Brakhage, a vocal performance major at Piedmont College, will present her senior recital at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 6, in the Chapel at the college’s Center for Worship and Music in Demorest.

Admission is free and everyone is invited.

A 2009 graduate of Johnson High School, Brakhage will perform works by Haydn, Rossini, Brahms, Faure, Mozart, Barber and Ricky Ian Gordon. A member of "Cantabile" singers at Piedmont College, Brakhage is also the soprano section leader for the Grace Calvary Episcopal Church and Mountain Voices choirs.

After graduating, she plans to continue her education in graduate school to focus on opera performance.

Brakhage is the daughter of Dennis Brakhage and Diane Cape.
