We used to have a number of variety shows on TV. They had singing, dancing and perhaps a comedy skit or two. Perhaps one of the best of these was the “Carol Burnett Show.” Burnett was honored last week with a special honoring her 90th birthday. The material from her shows of nearly 50 years ago was as good as it was in the ‘70s.
