David Lee has been named Jackson EMC’s district manager in Gainesville.

Lee has worked in various roles for Jackson EMC in Lawrenceville and Gainesville since 1999.

During his time in Gainesville, Lee has worked closely with some of the cooperative’s largest local members, including Kubota, ZF Wind and King’s Hawaiian. He is an active member of the district’s business and community landscape, having served as chairman of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, chairman of Rehabilitation Industries of North Georgia, and chairman of the Lanier Joint Development Authority. Later this year, he will assume the role of chairman of the Economic Development Council in Hall County.

Lee earned a bachelor’s degree and certificate in management from the University of Georgia, and he expects to earn a Masters in Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2018.

Lee will transition to his new duties after the retirement of longtime district manager Bill Sanders around the end of April.
