White County tops Habersham Central, 35-14

White County's Bill Ballard earned his 100th win as a head coach on Friday in Cleveland as the Warriors beat Habersham Central 35-14 in the teams' season openers.

Sam Turner and Maurice Sutton led the Warriors’ offense with two touchdowns each, and Coley Loudermilk added the final score.

Defensively, Dalton Whitfield finished with two tackles for a loss for White County (1-0), and Adam Johnson had a pair of interceptions.

Tucker Cook had multiple quarterback hurries from the defensive side of the ball and added skill at tight end for the Warriors.

White County visits Lumpkin County next Friday in Dahlonega.
