Beard Derek and Loraine Beard of Gainesville celebrated their 60th anniversary on Sept. 10, 2009. A renewal of vows and reception in their honor at the Dove House in Boulder, Colo., was given by their daughters Melanie Jenkins, Lisa Beard and Jenifer Cistola.

Hosch Leon and Mary Lou Hosch of Gainesville celebrated their 60th anniversary on Oct. 8, 2009. An anniversary dinner held in their honor was given by their children Gary and Donna Hosch of Arcade, Alvin and Glenda Bagwell and Terry and Cathy Roper, all of Gainesville.
