A Buford man is accused of unlawfully entering his father’s house and setting a pile of combustible items on fire in the living room, according to authorities. Aaron Ecclecius Shaw, 29, and Whitney Reagan Batts, 31, of Hall County, were charged with first-degree arson and first-degree burglary. Shaw was booked Feb. 27 in to the Hall County Jail, where he remains. Batts was booked in to the jail April 6 and was released on bond April 8.
