Lauren Amanda Wehunt and Lonni Leonard Lewis Blanton III were united in marriage at 7 p.m. June 27, 2009, at Cottrell Ranch in Dahlonega. The bride is the daughter of Joann Wehunt of Lula and Ronnie and Pat Wehunt of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Leonard and Monique Blanton of Lafayette, Ala.

The bride's cousin the Rev. Kevin Shockley performed the ceremony. Pianist and vocalist Gary Smith presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's friend Ashley Krouse of Gainesville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Erin Crandall of Flowery Branch, Ashley Moulton of Acworth, Ashley Etris of Dahlonega and Anna Koch of Cordele. The best man's daughter Alannah Hipps of Canton was the flower girl.

The groom's friend Mike Hipps of Canton was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's brother Kevin Blanton of Snellville and the groom's friends Scott Jordan of Kansas City, Mo., Jebediah Moulton of Acworth, Jeremiah Zeis of Decatur, Warren Holmes of Marietta and Brad Bernard of Alpharetta.

The bride's sister Ronya Churchwell kept the bride's book.

The bride wore a silver bracelet given to her by the groom and a pearl necklace given to her by her father.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Luna's restaurant in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at Cottrell Ranch in Dahlonega following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to the Bahamas, the couple reside in Simpsonville, S.C.
