NEWSLETTER SIGN UPA Lula man was killed in a one-car accident in Banks County Tuesday afternoon, the Georgia State Patrol said.
Jessie Jackson, 46, was driving his Nissan Altima east on Ga. 51 near Hickory Flat Road at about 12:45 p.m. Tuesday when he lost control and crossed over into the westbound lane, the patrol said.
Jackson's car left the road, went over an embankment and struck several trees. He was dead at the scene.
There were no passengers in Jackson's car.
