Achasta Golf Course in Dahlonega will play host to the Whistles for a Cause Golf Tournament on Monday.

The inaugural tournament will be played in memory of Cindy Wall, former athletic trainer at Auburn University, and in honor of her mother Pat Wall, a longtime women’s basketball advocate.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the restricted scholarship fund at Auburn University for athletic trainers. Whistles for a Cause will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Costs are $250 for an individual golfer and $1,000 for a foursome.

Hole sponsorships are available for $500. Sponsors will receive a free sign, including a special message or advertisement, that will be located at a tee box. Online registration is available on www.active.com. For more information, please email Sally Bell at sb23bball@aol.com.
