NEWSLETTER SIGN UPFLOWERY BRANCH – The Atlanta Falcons signed free agent linebacker Edmond Miles on Thursday.
Miles, 6-foot, 240 pounds, has seen action in 18 games with the Miami Dolphins and New York Giants in two seasons (2007-08).
After originally signing with the Dolphins as a rookie free agent, he went on to compete in all 16 games in 2007 and led the team in special teams tackles (16). A University of Iowa graduate, Miles was a four-year letterman for the Hawkeyes and finished his collegiate career with 207 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, five sacks and one interception.
