Finishing a 1,500-mile paddling trip
Robert Fuller, professor of geosciences and director of the Environmental Leadership Center on the University of North Georgia's Dahlonega campus, completed a 1,500-mile paddling trip on Wednesday, ending on the Etowah River in Lumpkin County. He began the trip on the Chattahoochee River in September, paddled to the Gulf of Mexico by November, paddled along the gulf to the Mobile River and back upriver along that system.
