On Dec. 9, hundreds of students from Georgia Cyber Academy attended the virtual school's annual Winter Wonderland event at the Cabbage Patch Babyland General in Cleveland. The event was one of several gatherings across the state, offering an opportunity for GCA students, teachers and families to gather for the holidays and participate in some seasonal activities.

Thirteen musicians from Johnson High School were selected for the fourth annual Hall County Honor Band, which was directed this year by Josh Byrd, director of bands at the University of West Georgia. Select musicians from the county gathered for a rigorous rehearsal schedule over a 36-hour period, which culminated in a concert at Riverside Military Academy.
