Jobless rate dips below 7 percent in Hall County
The preliminary unemployment rate in metro Gainesville declined to 6.7 percent in September, down five-tenths of a percentage point from a revised 7.2 percent in August, Georgia Department of Labor announced today.

There's good news on the local jobs front going into the last quarter of 2012. The preliminary unemployment rate in metro Gainesville declined to 7.2 percent in August, down five-tenths of a percentage point from 7.7 percent in July, the Georgia Department of Labor announced today.
