Friday roadwork will cut Ga. 53 westbound to one lane

Westbound lanes on Ga. 53/Mundy Mill Road under Interstate 985 will be reduced to one lane from 7 p.m. Friday to 7 p.m. Saturday.

Motorists coming off I-985 south won't be able to turn left on Mundy Mill Road because of the work, said Teri Pope, spokeswoman for the Georgia Department of Transportation.
