This year's crop was a beauty, and it took John and two other men to get this melon into the trunk of Anastacia's car. Motorcycle accident kills Lanier Tech student

Terrance Putman, 23, of Gainesville was killed in a motorcycle crash early Wednesday morning, Gainesville police said.

Lt. Floyd Canup said police and emergency medical personnel responded to a location on Hunter Street. They discovered that a motorcycle left the road, struck a utility pole and ejected the driver.
