FLOWERY BRANCH - Hall County officially opened its Spout Springs Water Reclamation Facility on Thursday morning with a ribbon-cutting.
The ceremony was held at Sterling on the Lake on the Flowery Branch residential community's Village Green, which is irrigated with reuse water from the new Spout Springs Water Reclamation Facility Reuse System.
Habitat for Humanity of Hall County will be taking applications on Saturday for the next round of homes to be built in the 2009-10 building year.
Interested applicants must attend the meeting to apply. Families are chosen on the basis of their need for housing, their ability to make payments on an affordable no-profit, no-interest mortgage, and their willingness to be active partners with Habitat.
