Gainesville faces more budget cuts in new fiscal year

For Dunagan, the city's financial picture may mean forcing the city's Parks and Recreation Department and other subsidiary funds like the one for the Georgia Mountains Center to stand on their own. At least four subsidiary funds - the Chattahoochee Golf Course, Georgia Mountains Center, TV18 and Community Service Center - currently receive more than $920,000 in city tax dollars from the general fund.
