Don't get too excited, but North Georgia will be ushering in the month of December today with a slight chance of S-N-O-W, according to the National Weather Service.
But don't rush out to stock up on groceries and movie rentals before all the good stuff is gone; there isn't a chance of accumulation in Gainesville. The ground is just too warm and it's supposed to be a mix of rain and snow anyway, according to Laura Griffith, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.

For weeks, a young Tod Peavy had tinkered and toiled and thought of nothing but this car. But his foster mother resented the red roadster. She hadn't given it to him. Instead, a holiday well-wisher purchased the present for an anonymous foster child, and caseworkers put the toy in the boy's hands for Christmas.
