Clermont woman identified as Friday crash victim

A woman who died in a Friday rollover crash in North Hall that injured four others was identified Saturday as Elisha Sue Smith of Clermont.

Hall County Coroner Marion Merck said Smith, 26, was a passenger in a Ford Explorer that left Clarks Bridge Road on Friday afternoon and flipped several times.

SUV rollover kills 1, injures 4 near Clermont

A woman was killed and four other people were injured in a rollover accident in Clermont on Friday afternoon, officials said.

A Ford Explorer was northbound on Clarks Bridge Road at high speed shortly before 3 p.m. when the driver lost control, crossed over the center line and left the road near Trinity United Methodist Church, Georgia State Patrol Trooper Dallas Vanscoten said.
