Rwandan set to speak about peace at Gainesville State
OAKWOOD - A former high-ranking Rwandan government official is scheduled to speak on "A Message of Peace and Reconciliation" on March 12 at Gainesville State College. Joseph Sebarenzi is set to speak at noon in the Continuing Education/Performing Arts Center Auditorium.

Fire destroys mobile home
Hall County firefighters responded to a singlewide mobile home fire at 1:47 a.m. Sunday. Capt. Scott Cagle said the mobile home, located on the 5000 block of Wallace Road off Athens Highway, was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived on the scene.
