The Sardis Elementary School community will have the opportunity tonight to give its thumbs up or down to a proposed charter school model that could be enacted at the Hall County elementary school in the 2009-2010 school year.

Flowery Branch High School students will compete against another Georgia high school on WSB-TV's "High-Q" game show. Chosen by a random drawing from all Hall County high schools, Flowery Branch High will try to answer academic questions regarding history, literature, geography or chemistry. The team that will represent the high school has yet to be determined, but will appear on the show in January.
Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama are set to face off Wednesday night in the last presidential debate at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y. The debate is set to air at 9 p.m. and will be moderated by CBS News Chief Washington Correspondent Bob Schieffer.
