Thurmon Tanner Parkway extension contract awarded

The state Department of Transportation has awarded a contract to Gary's Grading & Pipeline of Lawrenceville for the construction of the final 1.3-mile leg of Thurmon Tanner Parkway in Oakwood.

The project, which will cost $6.7 million, involves extending Thurmon Tanner from Plainview Road to Mundy Mill Road.
