Falcons sell out home opener

FLOWERY BRANCH – Falcons fans have been granted their wish.

The Atlanta Falcons announced that Sunday's regular season opener against the Detroit Lions at the newly refurbished Georgia Dome has been sold out. Which means fans who are not attended the game will be able to see No. 3 draft pick, and Falcons starting quarterback Matt Ryan in action.

FLOWERY BRANCH - The Atlanta Falcons signed free agents, linebacker Tony Gilbert and tight end Justin Peelle and completed the practice squad with the signing of defensive end Sean Conover and running back Kenneth Darby on Sunday. The Falcons also released tight end Jason Rader and former Georgia linebacker Tony Taylor.
