FLOWERY BRANCH - The Atlanta Falcons on Wednesday waived defensive end Brandon Miller and signed wide receiver Eric Weems from the practice squad to the active roster.Weems, 5-foot-9, 191 pounds, has spent the first 11 weeks of the 2008 campaign on the Falcons practice squad. Last season, he was signed by Atlanta as a rookie free agent and competed on the team's practice squad through the first 16 games. Weems saw his first NFL action in the 2007 season finale against the Seattle Seahawks at the Georgia Dome.
