Happy ending: Falcons end season with win

ATLANTA - The Atlanta Falcons proved that a season of hard knocks didn't break their will, while the Seattle Seahawks say a meaningless loss won't dim their hopes for a successful postseason.

Chris Redman threw four touchdown passes, including two to Alge Crumpler, and the Falcons rode three fourth-quarter touchdowns to a 44-41 victory over the playoff-bound Seahawks on Sunday.

Dismal year one game away from end

ATLANTA - Whether it's a close game or blowout, the Atlanta Falcons can't find a way to win.

Dismal season nearing an end

GLENDALE, Ariz. - This disjointed, dysfunctional season can't end fast enough for the Atlanta Falcons.

The Arizona Cardinals at least have a goal of finishing .500 if they beat the Falcons on Sunday and follow that up with a season-ending win at home over St. Louis. Atlanta, on the other hand, is like some battered prize fighter going down for the count.

Not Dunn yet: Falcons' veteran running back has no intentions of retiring at season's end

FLOWERY BRANCH - Warrick Dunn doesn't want his career to end with a whimper.
