Turner named Offensive Player of the Week

Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season on Wednesday. Turner rushed for 208 yards on 25 carries and a season-long 70-yard run in the Falcons 31-27 win against the St. Louis Rams last Sunday. Turner also earned NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors during Week 1 and Week 3 earlier this season. He completed the regular season with a career-high 1,699 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns on 376 carries.
