Hawk rallies to win Forrest Wood Cup

DULUTH - In Nov. 2009, Kevin Hawk made a fateful decision. Having already qualified for the 2010 Forrest Wood Cup through the FLW Series National Guard Western Division, Hawk decided to relocate from his home in Ramona, Calif., to Buford in an effort to put as much time on Lake Lanier as possible in order to maximize his success at this year's championship.

Ehler takes lead in Forrest Wood Cup

DULUTH - Team National Guard professional Brent Ehrler, of Redlands, Calif., crossed the stage at the Gwinnett Arena with a five-bass limit weighing 14 pounds, 4 ounces Saturday to lead Day 3 of the Forrest Wood Cup on Lake Lanier, putting himself in position to become the first angler to win the coveted title twice in the tourney's 15-year history.
