North Hall senior Trini Puente claimed two individual victories and was part of its first-place 1600-sprint medley relay squad (4 minutes, 32.31 seconds) at the Jefferson Relays on Saturday at Memorial Stadium. Puente won the 100-meter hurdles (15.73) and long jump (17 feet, 3 inches) en route to earning Outstanding Female Athlete Award.

Collier Scott's blistering 10th-inning single woke up a stagnant Gainesville bench Monday at the Hog Mountain Sports Complex. Tied with Flowery Branch in the top half of the inning, Scott roped a ball that hit off the first baseman's glove for the Falcons, plating two runs and making an 8-4 win possible with the three extra innings.
