At the end of Week 7 the Hall County football players have created the following power ratings. As the season goes on I take into consideration the following criteria: 1) head to head competitions; 2) win/loss record; 3) ratio of points scored vs. points allowed; 4) opponents win/loss percentage. For this week we rated the teams on the ratio of points scored against points allowed.

The high school football season sure is going to be fun to watch down the home stretch to the playoffs. Whoever designed the schedule set the stage for a game in week 11 like Hall County hasn't seen in a long time.
Lumpkin County High grinded out a 20-play, 80-yard touchdown drive in the second half en route to a 17-0 win over Pickens on Friday night in Jasper. Daniel Abercrombie capped the drive with a touchdown run from the 7 for the Indians (3-3, 2-1 Region 7A-AAA).
The taste of victory has never been sweeter for the Creekview Lady Grizzlies, who defeated the White County Lady Warriors 5-0 on Friday afternoon at Lanier Point softball complex in Gainesville.
The Lady Grizzlies (29-6) were led by the brilliant pitching of sophomore Haley Brannon, who pitched a complete-game, two-hit shutout to help lead her team to victory. Brannon also added eight strikeouts with just one walk in the win.
