Buford's Hunter commits to Florida

The national recruiting sweepstakes for Buford High defensive tackle Omar Hunter came to an end Tuesday as the 6-foot-1, 310-pound prospect gave a verbal commitment to Florida. Hunter made his decision following his visit to the Gainesville, Fla., campus last weekend.

Buford High girls basketball coach Gene Durden has deliberately tried to create a little chaos during practice this week. The Class AA fourth-ranked Lady Wolves' (14-2) third-year coach has done his best to test his team's attention to detail.

Whether it be full-court press on defense, seven defenders to try to disrupt the flow of the offense or loud noise with whistles and constant instruction, it's all a test to see how focused his team really is.
