With one week left to play in the regular season, the playoff picture is getting clearer. Except of course in Region 8-AAAA and Region 7-AAA, where the teams that make the postseason could come down to a mathematical equation.
JEFFERSON - Jefferson High football coach Bill Navas says his program has learned about the bitter disappointment of losing a chance at a region title. He just hopes the sixth-ranked Dragons (8-0, 7-0 Region 8-AA) aren't doomed to repeat the past this season.
At the end of week 8 the Hall County football players have created the following power ratings. As the season goes on I take into consideration the following criteria: 1) Head to head competitions; 2) win/loss record; 3) ratio of points scored vs. points allowed; 4) opponents win/loss percentage.
