JEFFERSON - The Jefferson Dragons (9-2, 5-1) returned home Friday where they faced off against Region 8S-AA leader North Oconee for the second time this season. The Dragons lost the first meeting between the two teams on March 24.

Lumpkin County scored 12 runs in the second inning and finished the game with 13 hits en route to a 15-2 win in five innings against Flowery Branch on Saturday in Dahlonega. Drew Uptegraph (5-0) earned the win for the Indians (14-1, 12-1 Region 7-AAA), allowing only two runs in three innings.
