Riverside football coach stepping down

Citing family reasons, Riverside Military Academy football coach Chris Lancaster will be leaving the school, he announced to staff members on Friday.

He'll be taking over as athletic director and head coach at Bruceville-Eddy, a Class AA high school in Texas, about 18 miles south of Waco.

Johnson girls basketball coach resigns

For the second time in two years the Johnson High girls basketball program is in search of a new head coach.

First-year coach Ron Smith resigned Monday just one year after he was hired to replace Michael Youngblood, who left to coach at Oconee County High.
