North Hall senior Josh Wright singled twice, doubled and had an RBI in a 9-1 win for the Trojans against Lumpkin County on Wednesday night in Dahlonega. He also picked up his sixth win this season on the mound with four strikeouts.

West Hall's Turner finalist for award

West Hall's Adam Turner was among 20 Georgia high school students named on April 5 as a finalist for the Vincent J. Dooley Award.The awards are given to one male and female senior who exemplifiy teamwork, character and citizenship in their community. Each winner is awarded at $1,000 scholarship while each finalist is given $1,000 to present to the charity of their choice.
