It's gotten to the point where high school athletes have what appears to be total control in the process when it should be the other way around. The Flowery Branch boys and girls cross country teams each won the Last Chance Invitational on Saturday in Carrollton. David Farist won the boys race for Flowery Branch with a time of 16 minutes, 57 seconds. Flowery Branch senior Kiara Woods won the girls race (19:25).
