Flowery Branch boys, girls soccer ranked

Five area teams are ranked in a Georgia high soccer preseason poll released on Eurosportscoreboard.com. Both Flowery Branch teams received rankings, with the boys at No. 5 and the girls at No. 10 in Class AAA. The North Hall girls were also included in the Class AAA rankings at No. 4. In Class AA, the Buford girls are ranked seventh, and the Habersham Central boys begin the season ninth in Class AAAA. Soccer season for area teams officially begins Monday.

Wood, who has succeeded coaching both girls and boys during his career in Hall County, knew that hard work would more than make up for lack of returning talent on the Trojans roster this season.
