Mountains Cup finals arranged

The final rounds of the Northeast Georgia Mountains Cup will be played Friday at Chestatee High School and Allen Creek Soccer Complex. The games were originally scheduled for last Friday, but were delayed due to rain. Admission to the games is $5 at each venue. The boys' third-place game between Chestatee and Riverside Military begins at 6 p.m., followed by the championship game between West Hall and Johnson at 8 p.m. Both games are at Chestatee.

The high school sports docket is going to be a busy one coming off a week that was dominated by cancellations due to poor weather. Baseball, soccer and golf all have headliner games and events scheduled for this week.

The fifth-annual Big Red Shootout golf tournament is today at the Chattahoochee Golf Course.
