North Hall coach Benjie Wood couldn't have expected a flawless performance under the circumstances Monday. The Trojans (0-1) were playing with three regular starters back with the team for the first time since the football season ended just a few days ago.
Gainesville senior Jaymee Carnes finished with 21 points and 15 rebounds as part of a 49-38 win against No. 1-ranked Carrollton on Saturday at Kennesaw State University. Mikalyn DeFoor finished with 14 points for the second-ranked Lady Red Elephants (1-0).
