Trojans maintain top spot in ratings

At the end of Week 7, the Hall County football players have created the following power ratings. As the season goes on, I take into consideration the following criteria: 1) Head-to-head competitions, 2) win/loss record, 3) ratio of points scored vs. points allowed and 4) opponents win/loss percentage.

Moments before the game started, Shaw made it very clear that he didn't want to leave City Park without adding his 29th.

Class AAA mostly went unchanged in the Associated Press high school football poll, except for Monroe and Shaw forming a tie at No. 9. With both teams coming in even, undefeated Chamblee took over the 10th spot. North Hall, after another big win Friday night, holds steady at No. 5.

The Lady Indians captured their first-ever fast-pitch softball title with a 10-0 rout of West Hall in the championship game of the Region 7-AAA Tournament on Friday at the Lanier Point Softball Complex.
