The Triple-A Gwinnett Braves took a one-run lead into the bottom of the ninth inning, but Norfolk rallied against G-Braves' reliever Peter Moylan to send the game to extra innings, and the Tides' Luis Exposito hit a walk-off home run off of Ryan Buchter in the 10th to top the G-Braves 3-2 on Friday night in Norfolk, Va.

Triple-A Gwinnett Braves starter Jair Jurrjens was hit hard early and took the loss in a 5-2 decision against the Norfolk Tides on Wednesday in Norfolk, Va. Jurrjens gave up three earned runs and two hits before the first out was recorded in the third inning, then was pulled for reliever Buddy Carlyle, who gave up another two runs in the inning.

Teheran leads G-Braves past Tides, 3-1

Right hander Julio Teheran worked eight innings and led the Triple-A Gwinnett Braves to a 3-1 win over the Norfolk Tides on Tuesday at Harbor Park in Norfolk, Va. Teheran allowed just five hits and one earned, no walks and struck out a season-high nine.

Gilmartin grabs 1st win for G-Braves, 8-2 over Louisville

LAWRENCEVILLE – Left-hander Sean Gilmartin earned his first Triple-A victory with 6.2 impressive innings as the Gwinnett Braves defeated the Louisville Bats, 8-2 on Saturday night at Coolray Field. Stefan Gartrell led the offensive attack with a 2-for-3 game including his 18th home run and three RBIs. Josh Kroeger added a pinch-hit three-run homer in the eighth to put the game out of reach.

Teheran blasted in G-Braves loss

LAWRENCEVILLE - Gwinnett starter Julio Teheran surrendered six runs over four innings and the bullpen allowed four more runs as the Braves fell 10-2 to the Norfolk Tides on Thursday night at Coolray Field. Norfolk entered the series 0-7 against the G-Braves this season, but won the series, 3-1.L.J. Hoes went 4 for 6 in the leadoff spot for Norfolk, while Bill Hall and Brandon Waring each plated three RBIs in the rout.

Pie powers G-Braves past Norfolk, 6-4

LAWRENCEVILLE – Felix Pie went 2 for 3 with three RBIs, leading the Gwinnett Braves to a 6-4 win over the Norfolk Tides on Tuesday night at Coolray Field. The G-Braves scored four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to take a 5-2 lead and never trailed the rest of the way, moving to within six games of the Tides for second place in the International League South Division with the victory.

Delgado, G-Braves take 7-4 loss to Tides

LAWRENCEVILLE - The Norfolk Tides scored five runs after the fifth inning to take the opener of a four-game series, 7-4 over the Gwinnett Braves on Monday night at Coolray Field. Randall Delgado allowed three runs over 5 2/3 innings in the losing effort for Gwinnett, while Norfolk starter Dana Eveland yielded only two unearned runs over six innings for the victory. With the loss, Gwinnett's first in eight meetings with Norfolk this season, the G-Braves find themselves seven games behind the Tides for second place in the International League South Division.

LAWRENCEVILLE - After dropping the first seven meetings this season, the Gwinnett Braves finally defeated the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees with a 10-6 win on Monday night at Coolray Field. The Gwinnett offense collected 14 total hits including two from Felix Pie, who went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs.
