Rain suspends G-Braves in 4th inning
For the second straight night, rain prevented the Gwinnett Braves from completing their game, this time against the Columbus Clippers.
G-Braves get strong start from Jurrjens, win in 10
TOLEDO, OH – Jose Constanza's sacrifice fly in the top of the 10th inning propelled the Gwinnett Braves to a 2-1 win over the Toledo Mud Hens on Sunday at Fifth-Third Field. It was the fourth win in a row for Gwinnett as they maintain a four-game lead over Charlotte for first place in the International League South Division.
G-Braves score four runs in the fifth to top Toledo
The Triple-A Gwinnett Braves broke a 3-3 tie with four runs in the top of the fifth and beat the Toledo Mud Hens 8-3 in game two of the four game series on Saturday night at Fifth-Third Field in Toledo, Ohio.

FORT MILL, SC - The Charlotte Knights received strong pitching for the second straight game and beat the Gwinnett Braves, 2-0, in the finale of the three-game series at Knights' Stadium.

The Gwinnett Braves defeated the Norfolk Tide 9-2 on Thursday afternoon at Coolray Field. Jordan Parraz went 3 for 5 with a double and four RBI, while Ernesto Mejia had a double, home run and three RBIs as the G-Braves (11-4) completed a four-game sweep of the Tides. Right-hander Eric Junge threw six scoreless innings in the win for the G-Braves. Gwinnett Braves (11-4) now head to the road for a three-game series against the Charlotte Knights at 7:15 p.m. Friday.
Hudson pitches G-Braves to win in rehab start
Tim Hudson pitched five innings, struck out four and allowed only two hits in a rehab start for the Gwinnett Braves (10-4) in a 4-1 win against Norfolk on Wednesday afternoon in Lawrenceville. Ernesto Mejia had a three-run double in the bottom of the first inning to take an early lead for the G-Braves.

Altanta Braves starter Tim Hudson is expected to make a rehab start for Gwinnett, the organization's Triple-A club, on Wednesday.
Durham gets best of G-Braves, 5-1
LAWRENCEVILLE - The Gwinnett Braves held a 1-0 lead through four innings, but couldn't complete the four-game sweep as the Durham Bulls won 5-1 on Sunday at Coolray Field.

DURHAM, N.C. - The Durham Bulls erupted for six runs in the first two innings off of Gwinnett starting pitcher Eric Junge and never looked back, beating the G-Braves 7-4 in the finale of the four-game series at Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, N.C.

The Gwinnett Braves had their regular season finale against the Charlotte Knights canceled by rain Monday in Lawrenceville. With Lehigh Valley's win earlier in the day at Syracuse, the G-Braves were eliminated from the International League wild-card race. Gwinnett (78-65) finishes the season in second place in the IL South, 2.5 games behind the Durham Bulls.
Gomez drives in winning run for Gwinnett
First baseman Mauro Gomez had an RBI single in the eight inning and the Triple-A Gwinnett Braves defeated the Charlotte Knights 6-5 on Sunday at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.

Left hander Yohan Flande pitched six innings and allowed three runs and six hits for the Triple-A Gwinnett Braves in a 4-3 loss to the Durham Bulls on Tuesday in Durham, N.C. With the loss, Gwinnett (75-62) is tied with Lehigh Valley for the wildcard spot in the International League.
