North Ga. College announces Hall of Fame inductees

DAHLONEGA - North Georgia College & State University will induct the first four members into the school's newly chartered Athletics Hall of Fame during a ceremony on Jan. 28. The honorees are former basketball players Brenda Hill-Gilmore and Jim Hyder, former basketball coach and athletic director Bill Ensley, and former baseball player and donor Bob Stein.

Point guard Brittney Wiley led the Brenau University basketball team with 12 points, three assists and a pair of steals in a 66-62 overtime win against Spring Hill on Friday in Mobile, Ala. Sophomore Nikki Reed hit a basket with five seconds left in the fourth quarter for the Golden Tigers (7-0) to send the game to overtime and finished with 10 points.
