North Georgia wins big against Reinhardt

DAHLONEGA – The North Georgia College & State University women's basketball team showed little signs of a 16-day layoff on Monday evening, using a 19-0 run midway through the first half to run away with an 81-47 victory over Reinhardt University in non-conference action.

Shaw leads Georgia Southern past Wofford

Brenau wins in OT

Point guard Brittney Wiley led the Brenau University basketball team with 12 points, three assists and a pair of steals in a 66-62 overtime win against Spring Hill on Friday in Mobile, Ala. Sophomore Nikki Reed hit a basket with five seconds left in the fourth quarter for the Golden Tigers (7-0) to send the game to overtime and finished with 10 points.
