Brenau's Lady Golden Tigers, the nation's No. 18-ranked team, swept Clark Atlanta on Sunday in Atlanta 23-0 and 14-1, with both games lasting just five innings. Led by 30 points from Lauren Smith, the Young Harris women's basketball team used a last-minute lay-up to earn coach Brenda Paul her 450th career win by defeating Reinhardt 59-53 on Monday at the Brown Athletic Center. North Georgia baseball up to No. 8 in latest poll

North Georgia jumped 14 spots to No. 8 in the latest Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Division-II Top 30 Poll after sweeping Stillman College over the weekend. It was the Saints' second straight three-game sweep of the year as the team improved to 6-0.
