Lady Saints holding a pair of aces
DAHLONEGA - Last season North Georgia softball pitcher Sarah Phillips won more than 50 games and was named the Peach Belt Conference Pitcher of the Year for the second straight season. This season, Phillips only has 19 wins and most likely will not win her third straight PBC award.

Led by three members playing in their last season, the Brenau University tennis team celebrated Senior Day by defeating Milligan College on Saturday in Gainesville.
A sweep for Brenau
The Brenau University softball team swept a doubleheader with No. 20 Shorter, 3-0, 3-2, on Tuesday in Gainesville. With the win, the Golden Tigers (37-7, 21-5 Southern States Athletic Conference) moved two games ahead of Shorter for first place in the conferences eastern division.

The North Georgia softball team checked in at No. 2 in the nation in the latest NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll, released Wednesday.
Pickett named PBC Pitcher of the Week
North Georgia's Jacob Rickett was named the Peach Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week, announced Tuesday by the league office. Rickett is the first Saints player to earn a conference weekly award this season.
North Georgia softball claims PBC title
For the third straight season, the North Georgia College & State University softball team is the champion of the Peach Belt Conference. After wrapping up their third straight regular season title last week, the Lady Saints made it three tournament titles in a row on Sunday with a 5-2 win over Augusta State in Florence, S.C.
