For the second time in as many weeks North Georgia College & State University forward Emily Dover has been named the Peach Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Dover is the first conference player this year to earn multiple PBC Offensive Player of the Week awards.

The Piedmont College volleyball team got a record-breaking performance from Paige Eslinger Tuesday to rally for a 3-1 (11-25, 25-22, 25-16, 25-23) victory at in-state foe Brenau University. Eslinger posted 42 digs in the match, a NCAA-era program record, with the 22nd dig of her night also representing the 1,000th of her Lady Lion career.

The Piedmont College women's soccer team had little trouble defeating in-state foe Oglethorpe University Wednesday by a final score of 6-0, their fifth shutout victory in six games. The Lady Lions got two first half goals before four more scores in the second half to notch their sixth straight win to open the season, the best start by a Piedmont women's soccer team in the NCAA era beginning with the 2003 season.

The Piedmont College men's soccer team earned its second straight overtime victory Sunday with a 2-1 win over Emory and Henry College in Emory, Va. The Wasps struck first in the match, but the Lions managed a tying goal in the second half before netting the game-winner in the second overtime period.
